Taking the leap.

Welcome to my first blog post!

I braved the cold to pose for this picture.

I’m glad you took the time to come and check it out. I know that having a blog isn’t a big deal, but it’s my first attempt at really sharing my arts and crafts with the rest of the world. These projects of mine are things that I hold very dearly and pour myself in to each of the pieces I create. The idea of exposing these special, fragile things to the rest of the world has always terrified me. What if everyone hates what I make? Would this lead me to quit doing what I love? I’ve always wanted to share my arts and crafts with other people but my fear of the unknown, the fear of rejection has held me back. I’ve finally decided I’m going to face these fears and it starts with this blog! To quit dreaming and wondering what could be and go forward and find out for myself. It’s a humble beginning but I have high hopes for what will come. I hope to share with you projects I’m working on, things that I find inspiring and hopefully some tutorials. I hope that you will keep coming back to check out what’s new. Now go out out and take that leap of your own and face your fears!

    • Thank you! I’ll get some knitting projects up soon. I just need a short break from knitting after all the holiday knitting I did. But I have an idea for a cowl pattern that I want to try.
